
For Christmas 2019, my sister sent me this quilt. I immediately decided that it would look wonderful in our great room. Yesterday, Jack put it up for me.

For Christmas 2019, my sister sent me this quilt. I immediately decided that it would look wonderful in our great room. Yesterday, Jack put it up for me.

Rion and Bandit are hardly ever this close together when they nap, since Rion fiercely defends his personal space. However, since Bandit curled up on the “good” blanket first, Rion lay next to him so I could cover him with the “not so good” blanket.
Jack and I are doing as well as anyone can in the face of the pandemic caused, national closure. Be well, all.
Jack and I took a lunch tour on the Steamboat Natchez in New Orleans.

Yesterday, the forecasters predicted a trace of snow for our area. Instead it snowed most of the day. Our neighbor with the massive snowblower did our driveway and the sidewalk along the road. I suppose he figures that once he gets it started he might as well do the block.

Our last day in Louisiana was rainy, but we got to the Barataria Perserve while it was still just cloudy. The trees were covered with Spanish Moss.

Eleven years ago today, Rion joined our household from the Pikes Peak Humane Society as an eight week old infant. I took this photo this morning of him snuggling on the bed in his blankie.

This year, we decided to put the tree in the corner of the great room.
