Colder here this morning.
My friend Susan, the Neon Nurse, has described a new syndrome: Predicted Snow Traumatic Syndrome. I have been battling it myself. At least the weather was mild enough today that I could ride both Hap and Lily, since it might be another month before I can get back on a horse.

Today, the weather was fabulous. It was so beautiful that I threw the bareback pad on Hap and see if he was still absolutely the best bareback pony in Colorado.

The outside thermometer is registering -11F this morning, which may be the coldest night here since we moved to Colorado. Paradoxically, the bedroom was almost too warm for sleep, since it is right next to the furnace, which was on all night, as far as I could tell.
