I met “Anita Rowling”:http://www.anitarowland.com/ this morning. She was walking out of the Internet Lounge as I walked in and I recognized her from her weblog photo. We had coffee and compared fan histories, and talked about weblogging and the fact that both our husbands are named Jack.

The Internet Lounge, from which I am posting, is set up with a lot of creaky old machines running Linux. The machines are working well, with the response time limited by the Internet connection, and not the machines themselves. Mozilla on Linux works much as it does on Windows 98, so it seems like a familiar environment for me.

Soon after I found the Internet Lounge yesterday, I overheard someone mentioned that Movable Type works on Mozilla. I glanced over, and realized it was “Kathryn Cramer,”:http://www.kathryncramer.com/wblog/ the writer of another weblog that I read.
