The Sunday Post Card challenge for the week is Blue Monday. It doesn’t get much easier than that. Here is the organizer’s card:


Every year, a friend sends me an online greeting card during the holidays. Here is a screenshot:

I carved and stamped this for a Carving Consortium swap.



It took me 17 days later to complete the 61 index cards but I decided that I didn’t want to stress over what should be a fun activity. I used a lot of rubber stamps and dies, but also did a lot of collage using a bin full of paper scraps.
The background is a thirty year old cutting mat that I originally bought for dressmaking.

Mirkwood Design Templates hasn’t been updated in a long time, but still has a lot of very cool templates for paper crafting.

One of my favorite challenge blogs can be found at https://sundaypostcardart.wordpress.com. I like it because it allows for a variety of media. The only real rules is to produce art sized 6″ by 4″.
