…a few decades ago. I don’t remember having this photo taken, though I do remember it was at the impetus of of our step-mother, Betty. I think it is the only studio photograph of me, and certainly the only professional one of my sister and I. Until I scanned the photo, I didn’t realize how scuffed the plastic covering had become. I am afraid I would damage it if I tried to remove the covering, which is held on with rivets.

I took this photo in Green Mountain Falls last Wednesday. I am standing on the small island in the center of the pond and looking back across the rebuilt bridge.
