Springs Bargains lists some senior discounts in Colorado Springs. And after March 25, it looks like it will also a good place to find lists of garage sales.

Today I was running around outside with bare naked forearms and was even able to ride my mare Lily for a bit. The high was 71F. Tomorrow the forecast is for seven inches of snow with highs around 29F. The only people who are excited about this are the weather forecasters.
Go Pet Friendly
The web site GoPetFriendly.com Pet Travel allows you to find hotels and other accommodations that allow pets. Ideally, I think vacations are to give me a break from taking care of critters, but not everyone feels that way. I did find Red Roof’s policy of allowing pets very handy when I drove three cats and an elderly Golden Retriever from Plano, TX to Colorado Springs. Dairy Queens were also very useful, because they were spaced about every sixty miles in Texas, allowing me a break from driving, a refill of coffee, a bathroom (needed after all the coffee) and a chance to walk the dog.
