The filter of ice fog made the sun look twice its usual apparent size as it rose yesterday morning.

We received a little snow last night.

The space heaters are doing a good job of keeping the house livable, despite an overnight low of 14 degrees Fahrenheit. If the furnace company receives the parts for our furnace this morning, they plan to repair our furnace this afternoon. It will be nice to have central heat again.

For the first time, we are using all white lights on our tree. I am surprised how much brighter it looks. This photo was taken without a flash in a dark room.
