When we first moved here, I was tremendously impressed by the pink golden light on the hills west of us during morning sunrise. If you look closely, you can see where the ice fog that persisted all of yesterday ended about 100 feet above us.

My friend took this photo of her cat Clown playing with a squirrel. She insists that the squirrel was playing too, since he had plenty of opportunities to leave.
