I found this photo of two pronghorns by Fort Photo on Flickr. Pronghorns are still fairly common in the more rural parts near Colorado Springs, though development has diminished their habitat a lot since we moved here.
Good stuff today:
I freecycled the feather bed (six responses within an hour!) today. I also got the office / guest room set up, which is part of the project which has eaten my life recently. The Collie seems less stressed since things have become a little more settled.
Bad stuff today:
The damp spot under the third bathroom in our house was not just a damp spot. Although the damage doesn’t look as severe as it might have, things will need to dry out for a while before we can make a complete assessment. Home ownership is such a joy!
The puppy thinks I am paying far too much attention to the house and not to him. Puppy has spent a lot of time in time-out today.
I used to walk to the Takoma Park Metro Station to go downtown, passing through Fort Totten station on the next stop: Washington Metro Train Crash Kills Six. (By the way, natives of the area know that there is no ‘s’ on the end of Spring.)
Hap was twenty-four years old in May, and is still one of the most handsome horses that I know. Not that I am biased, or anything.
I haven’t been getting much in the way of early morning shots because even I don’t wake up that early in June.
