For years, I have been admiring my friend’s Christmas Cactus, which breaks out in bright red blooms every November. Last Christmas, she gave me a cactus that was full of pink blooms. We both wondered if it would ever bloom again. A couple of weeks ago, I notice buds on the leave. This is what the blooms look like when they have opened.

We got quite a bit of rain overnight which was quite welcome, especially since it didn’t cause major flooding on the burn scars.
