For a long time, my horse trainer has wanted to get some pet chickens. Five days ago, she finally did so. Sunny, Cassie, and Martha belong to the breeds Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Red, and Plymouth Rock respectively. Until they get a little larger, they are living in a brooder in my friend’s garage. However, when she has assistance to guard against hawks, cats and other hazards, they get to scratch in the backyard. They apparently grow while you watch.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, there so cute! do u think u could tell me if chicks fly, because my baby chicks are growing there feathers and are always trying to fly out of my hand!there always flaping there wings and juming off there red water bowl.

hi I Love baby chicks and yours they are so cute! me and my friend are gonna get to see them hatch 4 a science project but the best part is that we get to keep them! I so happy I can’t wait until they hatch!:)

we hatched 3 chickens. theyre black, & ugly. but fuzzy and cute in their own way. bethanys dad had to kill the one-day old one with a deformed foot. i am sad.
