Her subscription to Norton just expired, so I downloaded <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grisoft.com\/us\/us_index.php\">AVG Anti-Virus<\/a> for her.  There were no reported viruses, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.safer-networking.org\/en\/index.html\">Spybot<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lavasoftusa.com\/software\/adaware\/\">Ad-Aware<\/a> sure found a lot to complain about.<\/p>\n<p>After that, I installed Firefox 1.0, and walked her through some of its features.  She has a rather slow machine on a slow dial-up, and Firefox seems faster to both of us.
