I&#8217;ve been through Deckers, which is not all that far from our house as the crow flies, but is a considerable drive on mountain roads.  As is my habit, when I heard about the Deckeres fire, I found it via Google Maps, and discovered that <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?f=q&#038;hl=en&amp;geocode=&#038;q=Deckers,+Uninc+Douglas+County,+CO&amp;layer=c&#038;ie=UTF8&amp;ll=39.255568,-105.227029&#038;spn=0.014705,0.018797&amp;z=16&#038;cbll=39.254155,-105.227295&amp;panoid=R37lmQ0gTNrvny4L7aWqhg&amp;cbp=1,117.0981732542337,,0,5\">Deckers, Colorado has a street view<\/a> on Google Maps. (Colorado Springs doesn&#8217;t rate high enough to be on Google Street Views.)  Check it out if you want to see the proverbial one-horse Colorado mountain hamlet.
