These chairs won out over the better known <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hermanmiller.com\/CDA\/SSA\/Product\/0,,a10-c440-p8,00.html\">Aeron Chairs<\/a> after we tested both for a week, courtesy of a local dealer.&nbsp; Last week, since I was experiencing some shoulder tension after work, I searched to make sure that I had everything properly adjusted, and found a web-site supporting something I had long suspected: there are <a href=\"http:\/\/office-ergo.com\/pros-cons.htm#Document%20stands\">pros and cons to all ergonomic products.<\/a> I ended up trying to follow the tips in &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/ririanproject.com\/2006\/10\/30\/how-to-keep-good-posture-when-in-front-of-a-computer\/\">How to Keep Good Posture When In Front of a Computer at Ririan Project&#8221;<\/a> and also found &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.humanics-es.com\/rethinkingsitting.htm\">Rethinking ergonomic sitting and seating ergonomics<\/a>&#8221; interesting.<\/p>\n<p>The net result seems to be that sitting for long periods of time is bad for the body, and taking frequent breaks is a necessity.&nbsp; And something I am doing is helping:&nbsp; I haven&#8217;t noticed the shoulder tension in the evenings the past few days.<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/ririanproject.com\/2006\/10\/30\/how-to-keep-good-posture-when-in-front-of-a-computer\/\"><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have Mirra Chairs at work.
