Macaroni and Cheese
(based on Better Homes and Garden recipe)

12 ounces dry weight of pasta cooked al dente
 1 pound sharp cheddar cheese
 4 tablespoons flour
 6 tablespoons margarine
 3 cups skim milk

1. cook pasta al dente.

2. melt butter on sauce pan over low heat, and mix in
   flour to make a paste. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, and
   add ground pepper to taste

3. add milk slowly, while stirring and making
   sure the sauce doesn't burn.

4. cube cheese, and mix into thickened sauce

5. in large casserole, pour sauce over cooked pasta, and
   bake uncovered in 350 oven for 45 minutes.
