hi…what a wonderful gift to share the glorious photos with us….you live in a landscape that would certainly nourish me and give birth to new ideas with the textiles i weave into dramatic landscapes…all with wonderful earthy colors of pure wool.
i am house sitting in a very gentle area of Oregon wine country to the west of Portland. I am looking for contacts who might point me to new areas where I can find the time and tranquility to translate 2 short books about the environment in Greece where I have spent the past 38 years.

If you should know of something please let me know. I cared for my parents for 16 years and now I would like to grow out of myself and find new ways to express what I feel now after the long intensive care of these two wonderful people – my parents. Cheers

Elaine – I just saw this about Hap. I’m so sorry, and so sad. He was your first horse, which is so special, and I have a really good idea of how you are feeling. He was both lovely and beloved, and his gorgeous bod ( ) and smooth gaits, and sweet personality were appreciated by all who met him, or better yet, had a chance to ride him.

How on earth did he break his leg??
