Two years ago, I planted some phlox that I got from the members contributions to a local garden show. I was disappointed when they didn’t bloom last year, but at least the foliage looked healthy. A few days ago, I was excited to see what looked like flowers forming, and some of them have actually bloomed now. Since I had no idea what they would look like, I am quite pleased.
Tall phlox, once established, should spread year to year. So look forward to many years of increasing enjoyment! It does well in Minnesota, so should be winter hardy here, too.
