Beautiful picture. We call them “sun dogs” I don’t know why. Last week in St. Paul, MN we had a double sun dog. It is a sight to see one. Thank you for your picture.

I feel like I’ve seen this phenomena, maybe just in pictures because we don’t have the cold temps here you do. It’s beautiful! Wish you could have seen the PV sunset I saw tonight from the Admiral Risty Restaurant. Holy moley. It was an 80 degree day, crystal clear, and the sunet was like a palette of blues, grays, oranges, purples, reds, maroons, you name it. Didn’t have a camera, darn it.
